Maria Elisabeth Schneider was born at Reichenbach, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).¹ She married Franz Christian Neger, son of Sebastian Neger and Anna Elisabeth Berndt, on 17 September 1765 at Katzweiler, Otterberg, Kaiserslautern, Donnersberg (Mont Tonnerre), France. They had five children.¹
