     Johann Friedrich Wolf, son of Georg Jacob Wolf and Anna Gertraud Stock, was born at Rieschweiler, (Pirmasens), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 28 September 1721 at Rieschweiler. His godparents were Johann Friedrich Hofmann from Rieschweiler, Johann Friedrich Stock from Dellfeldt, Anna Maria, wife of Jacob Wydler, linenweaver and member of the court in Rieschweiler, and Katharina, wife of Samuel Buchheit, miller in Rieschweiler.3 He died on 14 November 1724 at Rieschweiler at age 3 years, 1 month and 17 days.2
