     Friedrich Regitz, son of Daniel Regitz and Katharina Oberkircher, was born on 8 March 1862 at Kirkel, Homburg, Rheinkreis, Bayern.1 He was baptized on 16 March 1862 at Neuhäusel. His godparents were Valentin Regitz, Friedrich Leibrock, Katharina Schwender, and Louisa Gebhardt, all unmarried and from Kirkel.1
