     Carolina Lehmann, daughter of Johann Christian Lehmann and Caroline Gros, was born on 16 October 1847 at Neuhäusel, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern. She was the twin sister of Catharina.1 She was baptized on 21 October 1847 at Neuhäusel. Her godparents were Ludwig Groß from Limbach, Sebastian Klein from Neuhäusel, both unmarried, Katharina Schwarz, catholic, daughter of the butcher Jakob Schwarz from Neuhäusel, and Maria Klein, unmarried, from Kirkel.1
