     Johann Jacob Wydler, son of Johann Jacob Wydler and Anna Maria Weissmüller, was born at Rieschweiler, (Pirmasens), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 23 September 1703 at Rieschweiler. His baptismal sponsors were Johannes Behr, teacher in Nünschweiler, Johann Georg Schärrer, lay member of the court in Mühlbach, Anna Margreth, wife of Johann Georg Hooffer from Rieschweiler, and Elisabeth, wife of Peter Lötscher from Rieschweiler.1,3 He died on 20 July 1704 at Rieschweiler at age 9 months and 27 days.2
