     Anna Engel Vogelgesang, daughter of Hans Georg Vogelgesang and Maria Christina (--?--), was born on 6 February 1715 at Wolfersheim, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).3 She was baptized on 10 February 1715 at Walsheim. Her godparents were Nickel Vogelgesang from Mimbach, Michael Hussong from Mimbach, Anna Engel, wife of Michel Wolff from Wolfersheim, and Anna Gertraut, wife of Georg Fischer from Wolfersheim.3 She was confirmed on 17 April 1729 at Walsheim.2

Engel was the godmother of Anna Margretha Vogelgesang at her baptism on 16 February 1735.3
