     Maria Katharina Thomas, daughter of Jakob Thomas and Elisabeth (--?--), was born on 20 March 1734/35 at Mambächel, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).4 She married Johann Friedrich Kemmer, son of Hans Peter Kemmer and Anna Margaretha Schneider, on 13 May 1760 at Mambächel.1,2

On 3 October 1781, Katharina died at Mambächel at age 46 years, 6 months and 13 days, leaving Friedrich as a widower.4
