Johann Jakob Sebastian, son of Nickel Sebastian and Anna Apollonia Hammen, was born on 20 February 1711 at Ruschberg, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1,2 He married Maria Magdalena Albert, daughter of Johann Nickel Albert and Maria Salome Köhl, on 21 June 1736 at Ruschberg.2 He worked as a censor and church elder at Beckersmühle2, and at Berschweiler, (Birkenfeld), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).2
An unknown person died on 12 December 1772 at Berschweiler at age 52, leaving Jakob as a widower at the age of 61 years.1
