     Johann Philipp Schäfer, son of Jacob Schäfer and Anna Catharina (--?--), was born at Mühlbach am Glan, (Kusel), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 16 March 1704 at Theisbergstegen. His godparents were Johann Philipp Poots, Johann Philipp Beyer, Katharina Kreutz, and Anna Margaretha, wife of Frantz Binkel.1 He died on 22 May 1705 at Theisbergstegen at age 1 year, 2 months and 6 days.2
