     Maria Sophia Schunck, daughter of Johannes Schunck and Anna Barbara Neu, was born on 25 January 1724 at Breitfurt, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 30 January 1724 at Walsheim, (Saarland). Her godparents were Nickel Fischer from Herbitzheim, Johannes Sator from Breitfurt, Sophia, wife of Johannes Schunck from Webenheim, and Maria Barbara, legitimate daughter of Peter Welcker from Herbitzheim.1 She died on 30 May 1725 at Breitfurt at age 1 year, 4 months and 5 days2, and was buried on 31 May 1725.2
