     Friedrich Gros, son of Friedrich Gros and Elisabetha Müller, was born on 7 March 1860 at Limbach, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern.1 He was baptized on 22 March 1860 at Limbach. Godparents were Nicolaus Schott, farmer from Bliesbergerhof, Friedrich Leibrock, unmarried day laborer, Catharina Lehmann, unmarried, both from Limbach, and Catharina Schlemmer, wife of Catharina Schlemmer, from Niedermiesau.1
