     Johann Jacob Wagner, son of Georg Wagner and Catharina Elisabetha Korst, was born on 6 November 1783 at Kirkel, (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany). His godparents were Jacob Korst from Kirkel, Johann Georg Kir__, and Saloma Spieler.2,1 He married Anna Maria Schönerolf on 12 January 1809 at Limbach, (Saarland), France. Witnesses were Georg Wagner, tailor from Kirkel, 65 years old, Georg Wagner, farmer from Limbach, 48 years old, Alec Wagner, wheelwright, 29 years old, and Valentin Glaser, teacher from Limbach, 65 years old.2 He worked as a taylor at Kirkel.2
