     Maria Hilpert, daughter of Jacob Andreas Hilpert and Eva Salomea Schreiner, was born on 30 January 1841 at Kleinottweiler, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern.1 She was baptized on 7 February 1841 at Limbach, Homburg, Rheinpfalz, Bayern, German Confederation (Germany). Her godparents were Jacob Ecker, farmer in Altstadt, her uncle Heinrich Hilpert, farmer in Kleinottweiler, Maria Schreiner, from Kleinottweiler, all protestant, and Maria Pirrong, catholic.1
