     Maria Catharina Neu, daughter of Wilhelm Neu and Anna Margretha Fess, was born on 27 July 1716 at Breitfurt, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 2 August 1716 at Walsheim, (Saar-Pfalz-Kreis), (Saarland), Holy Roman Empire (Germany). Her godparents were Lorentz Vess from Wattweiler, Hans Georg Wolff, legitimate son of Michel Wolff from Wolffersheim, Maria Catharina, wife of Simon Wolff from Breitfurt, and her aunt Christina, wife of Matthaus Gentes from Breitfurt.1
