     Philipp Jacob Blinn, son of Philipp Jacob Blinn and Charlotta Moll, was born on 1 March 1766 at Bechhofen, (Pirmasens), (Rheinland-Pfalz), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 7 March 1766. His godparents were Johann Jacob Kiefer, Johann Philipp Trautmann, legitimate unmarried son of Michel Trautmann, senior, both from Lambsborn, and Catharina Charlotta, widow of Georg Russi from Bechhofen.1 He married Maria Elisabetha Müller.2

Philipp died of jaundice on 19 August 1837 at Bechhofen at age 71 years, 5 months and 18 days2, and was buried on 25 August 1837.2
