Johannes Schmidt, son of Johannes Schmidt and Anna Catharina Hainmöller, was born circa 22 November 1745 at Wiera, Ziegenhain, Hessen-Nassau, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He married Barbara Elisabeth Unger, daughter of Johann Heinrich Unger and Anna Barbara Theis, on 23 April 1764 at Wiera.4 He worked as a miller at Wiera.4
On 13 July 1787, Johannes and Barbara lost their son, Johann Werner, at age 14 years, 9 months and 26 days.5 They lost their son, Heinrich, at age 11 years, 10 months and 20 days.5 On 1 August 1787, they lost their daughter, Elisabeth, at age 4 years, 7 months and 13 days.5
On 1 November 1788, Johannes died at Wiera leaving Barbara as a widow.4
On 13 July 1787, Johannes and Barbara lost their son, Johann Werner, at age 14 years, 9 months and 26 days.5 They lost their son, Heinrich, at age 11 years, 10 months and 20 days.5 On 1 August 1787, they lost their daughter, Elisabeth, at age 4 years, 7 months and 13 days.5
On 1 November 1788, Johannes died at Wiera leaving Barbara as a widow.4
