Heinrich Schmidt, son of Johannes Schmidt and Anna Catharina Hainmöller, was born on 10 May 1755 at Wiera, Ziegenhain, Hessen-Nassau, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).4 He married Maria Krauß, daughter of Conrad Krauß and Anna Katharina Gümpel, on 1 February 1782 at Wiera.2 He was a farmer at Hof Nr. 25.2
On 2 September 1788, Heinrich and Maria lost their son, Wilhelm, at age 2 years, 1 month and 29 days.2 They lost their son, Johannes, on 10 January 1798 at age 7 months and 2 days.2
Maria died on 17 October 1798 at Wiera at age 34, leaving Heinrich as a widower at the age of 43 years.2
Heinrich died on 4 May 1799 at Wiera at age 43 years, 11 months and 24 days.2
On 2 September 1788, Heinrich and Maria lost their son, Wilhelm, at age 2 years, 1 month and 29 days.2 They lost their son, Johannes, on 10 January 1798 at age 7 months and 2 days.2
