Amalie Schmidt, daughter of Johann Conrad Schmidt and Anna Kunigunda Möller, was born on 5 February 1787 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 7 February 1787 at Schlitz. Her godmother was her aunt, Amalie Schmidt, the daughter of the deceased Johann Heinrich Schmidt.1
Amalie was the godmother of her cousin, Amalia Rausch at her baptism on 11 December 1797 at Schlitz.3
Amalie died between 6-7 p.m. On 29 December 1831 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, German Confederation (Germany), at age 44 years, 10 months and 24 days.2,1 She died of tuberculosis.2 She was buried in the evening on 31 December 1831 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, German Confederation (Germany).2
