     Catharina Schmidt, daughter of Thieleman Schmidt and Anna Gertrud Kalb, was born circa 1681 at Wiera, Ziegenhain, Hessen-Nassau, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was confirmed in 1694 at Wiera.1 She married Johann Conrad Pausch on 21 February 1712 at Wiera.2

Catharina was the godmother of her niece, Anna Catharina Schmidt at her baptism on 9 June 1724 at Wiera.4
