Johann Wilhelm Moritz1

Johann Wilhelm Moritz was born on 15 February 1728 at Kölschhausen, (Lahn-Dill-Kreis), (Hessen), Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 22 February 1728 at Kölschhausen. His godparents were the innkeeper Hechtmann, of the Roten Lowen Inn in Herborn, Johannes, the unmarried son of Jakob Will from Herborn, Anna Margaretha, wife of Johann Georg Creuther, mayor of Kölschhausen, and Katharina, wife of Valentin Loz.1 He was confirmed in 1742 at Kölschhausen.1 He married Maria Elisabetha Kreuter, daughter of Johann Heinrich Kreuter and Maria Katharina Elisabetha Schaub, on 10 February 1757 at Kölschhausen.1
Wilhelm died on 2 January 1804 at Kölschhausen at age 75 years, 10 months and 18 days1, and was buried on 6 January 1804 at Kölschhausen.1
