     Johann Jost Hoos, son of Johannes Hoos and Catharina Riem, was born on 23 August 1702 at Ransbach, Ziegenhain, Hessen-Nassau, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1,3 He was baptized on 27 August 1702 at Ransbach. His godfather was his cousin Johannes, son of Johannes Glüntzer von Ransbach.1 He died on 2 January 1704 at Ransbach at age 1 year, 4 months and 10 days2, and was buried on 4 January 1704 at Ransbach.2
