Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday for Akron attorney Kean T. Grosenbaugh, who died Monday at 56.
Born in Canton, Mr. Grosenbaugh had been an attorney for 26 years.
He graduated from Ohio University in 1954 and from the University of Akron Law School in 1963.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ of Canton and the American and Ohio Trial Lawyers associations and was active in the Great Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America. In 1981, he was was awarded Scouting’s highest honor, the Silver Beaver Award.
Mr. Grosenbaugh was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He leaves his wife, Nancy ; daughter Barbara of Birmingham, Ala; son Jeffrey of Akron; brothers Charles of Canton and Clare of Coldwater, Mich; and sisters Frances Greth and Elizabeth Marpe of Canton, Marian Kirsch of Akron and Jean Delay of Rocky River.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be private.
