Jean (Grosenbaugh) Delau, 89, of Avon, Ohio, died on March 4, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Alvin F; loving mother of Susan Delau Butterfield of MD and Joan Delau Manson (Chuck) of IL; grandmother of Kevin (Lisa) Manson and Melissa Manson; great grandmother of Evan Manson. Also survived by her brother Clare H. Grosenbaugh (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles L. and Ethel Grosenbaugh; her sisters Frances Greth, Elizabeth Marpe and Marian Kirsch, and brothers Charles L. Grosenbaugh Jr., and Kean T. Grosenbaugh (Nancy). A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at Rocky River United Methodist Church, 19414 Detroit Road, Rocky River, OH 44116. Private interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jean's memory to the Gathering Place Art and Music Programs, 23300 Commerce Park Dr., Beachwood, Ohio 44122 or www.touchedbycancer.org
