     Johann Christian Heyl, son of Johann Heinrich Heyl and Anna Catharina Schnabel, was born on 9 November 1775 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 11 November 1775 at Schlitz. His grandfather was Johann Christian Schnabel, citizen and tanner in Schlitz.1 He died on 16 August 1778 at Schlitz at age 2 years, 9 months and 7 days2, and was buried on 18 August 1778 at Schlitz.2
