     Anna Catharina Heyl, daughter of Johann Conrad Heyl and Dorothea Gliss, was born on 6 October 1789 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 7 October 1789 at Schlitz. Her godmother was Anna Catharina Gliss, wife of Johann Peter Gliss, citizen, potter, and lay member of the court in Schlitz.1
