     Catharina Rompf, daughter of Johann Bast Rompf and Catharina Schnur, was born at Butzbach, (Wetteraukreis), Hessen-Darmstadt, Heiliges Römisches Reich.1 She was baptized on 18 November 1621 at Butzbach. Her godmother was Catharina, wife of Wentzel Ditter.1
