     Leis Kercher, daughter of Asmus Kercher and Catharina Ruloff, was born at Butzbach, (Wetteraukreis), Hessen-Darmstadt, Heiliges Römisches Reich.1 She was baptized on 13 April 1585 at Butzbach. Her godmother was Leis, wife of Martin Dill.1
