     Johann Martin Gerecht, son of Johann Wilhelm Gerecht and Anna Katharina Stoffel, was born at 11 p.m. On 20 May 1783 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 22 May 1783 at Schlitz. His godfather was his uncle, Johann Martin Stoffel, citizen and merchant.1

Martin died on 29 October 1860 at age 77 years, 5 months and 9 days.1
