     Maria Dorothea Gerber, daughter of Caspar Gerber and Maria Catharina Seidemann, was born between 2 and 3 p.m. On 8 August 1747 at Freinsheim, (Bad Dürkheim), Rheinland-Pfalz, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 10 August 1747 at Freinsheim. Her godparents were the town councilman and Mayor David Babell, and his wife, Maria Dorothea.1
