     Andreas Imhof, son of Johannes Imhof and Katharina (--?--), was born at Michelau, (Wetteraukreis), Hessen, Heiliges Römisches Reich.1 He was baptized on 1 September 1779 at Wolferborn. His godfather was Andreas Ritter.1 He married Margaretha Bechtel on 18 October 1809 at Wolferborn.2 He worked as a day laborer.5

Andreas died of respiratory disease at 8 a.m. On 8 April 1855 at Wolferborn at age 75 years, 7 months and 7 days5, and was buried on 10 April 1855 at Wolferborn.5
