     Johann Leonhard Fix, son of Jacob Fix and Anna Christina Münch, was born on 24 May 1681 at Richen, (Dieburg), Hessen-Darmstadt, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 26 May 1681 at Richen. His godfather was his aunt's husband, Johann Leonhardt Fischer, tailor and gate keeper at the Steinborn Gate.1
