     Christina Engel, daughter of Johann Jost Engel and Anna Barbara Andreas, was born at Ober-Gleen, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 She was baptized on 24 April 1709 at Ober-Gleen. Her godmother was the daughter of Georg Stumpf.1
