     Bast Corell, son of Andreas Corell and Elisabeth Knauff, was born at Zella, Ziegenhain, Hessen-Nassau, Holy Roman Empire (Germany).1 He was baptized on 11 January 1632 at Zella. His godfather was Bast, son of Johannes Schmidt.1

Bast died of plague at Zella2, and was buried on 28 August 1636 at Zella.2
