Conrad Philipp Christian Tresser was born at 2 p.m on 26 May 1809 at Schlitz, (Vogelsbergkreis), Hessen, Deutscher Bund, as the second child, and the first son.9,2,3 He was baptized on 4 June 1809 at Schlitz. His godfather was Conrad Philippe Christian Huttenmüller, son of minor age of the paper maker Johannes Huttenmüller.9
Conrad was the godfather of his cousin, Philipp Tresser at his baptism on 7 June 1813 at Schlitz.10 He was confirmed in 1823 at Schlitz.2
On 30 November 1828, he was the godfather of his cousin, Philipp Henkel, at his baptism at Schlitz.11
Philipp Tresser married Sophia Wilhelmina Golz, daughter of Friedrich Golz and Anna Katharina Müller, on 5 January 1834 at Schlitz. The parents of the bride and groom, the bride's uncle, Buchwald Müller, and the groom's brother-in-law, the citizen with full rights and master baker, Wilhelm Habicht, were witnesses at the marriage.3 He worked as a master butcher and was a citizen with full rights.12,4,5
On 26 September 1834, Philipp and Sophia lost their first son, Friedrich.13
Conrad died at 3 a.m on 6 February 1860 at Schlitz at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 9 days.9,5 He was buried at 3 p.m on 8 February 1860 at Schlitz.5
