Marie Bachmann, daughter of Johannes Bachmann and Anna Eva Köhler, was born on 14 October 1852 at Dirmstein, Frankenthal, Rheinpfalz, German Confederation (Germany).1,2 She was baptized on 31 October 1852 at Dirmstein. Her godparents were Carl Bartholomäus, backer in Marnheim, and his wife Maria Köhler.1 She married James Mesnig in 1878 at Caistor, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, England.2,3,4,5 In 1881 Marie Mesnig lived at Clee, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, England.2
Marie died in 1908 at England at age 55 years6, and was buried at Scartho Road Cemetery.6
